It’s Black History Month, and our top pick is LUV Don’t Live Here.
This drama film – directed by Mikal Odom and starring Nathaniel Ryan, VeJai Alston, John K. Baxter – tells the story of Reggie Luv, a man whose life drastically changes once he becomes ill. Not ready to succumb to his new life, Reggie finds himself not just fighting for his health, but also unearthing harsh truths about his past and the relationships he holds dear.
It is a conversation starter and a movie that should be watched more. You take a journey through moments in Luv’s life and it asks the question of what would you do for the one’s you love and what would they do for you?
