Mulligans

Mulligans

When Tyler invites his friend from college, Chase, to his family’s summer home on Prospect Lake, his father, a closeted gay man, succumbs to an irresistible attraction that could break the family apart.

Mulligan is a gay drama that borrowed its name from golf parlance. It means “a second chance to perform a certain move or action.” When you first meet the main character, golf enthusiast Nathan Davidson (Watchmen’s Dan Payne), you can connect the dots.

Nathan seems to have it all. He’s handsome, married to a beautiful wife, owns a big house by the beach until he meets Chase, who sparks feelings inside him that were long buried. Chase, who is openly gay, shares this attraction and tries his best to control his feelings towards his friend’s father.

Ultimately both Chase and Nathan fail to resist each other and enter into a secret affair. What would you do if the one thing you wanted could ruin your life? Nathan’s family is set to collapse as the affair is discovered. Can a man keep his family and still hold onto himself?

Mulligans tackles a sensitive subject in a drama-packed, queer film that you can watch for FREE on happi-tv.com.
